MMC has developed thumbnail-sized electronic position sensors for precise positioning and control in seating systems and industrial applications. These sensors provide highly accurate angle positioning, parallel drive functions, end limits, and safety inhibits. By positioning the sensor directly on the moving plane, the need for complex drive software and algorithms—common with actuator potentiometers—is eliminated. Paired with an MMC control system, you achieve absolute position measurement and control. The EPS-001 is a digital angle sensor, while the EPS-002 offers digital-to-analog conversion, functioning as a 5kΩ potentiometer or providing a 0-5V output.
